Hello César! Could you describe yourself in a few words and tell us how you started drawing?
Illustration, videogames and music, financing my love for beer and concerts working as Interactive Art Director for companies like Grupo W, Televisa, newspapers like Excelsior, and Ogilvy Mexico.
I’m also co-founder of design studio Golpeavisa! but above everything I am a proud Mexican

How would you explain your style of illustration?
Voluble.
Do you have any new projects coming up soon that you can tell us about?
A big move, still a surprise =)

The illustration made for “MAD” is wonderful! tell us a little bit more about the creative process.
This was a piece made for MADINSPAIN ‘08, www.madinspain.com the brief was only something about being “mad”, so, the answer came easy, I’m a big fan of Radiohead, I want to made a tribute to my favorite band with a composition of more than 30 song titles of Radiohead songs building a madly Thom Yorke’s face.
In which point do you think technology can help an artist?
“Ctrl - Z” and the internet, without this ones, I’ve never been writing this.
What programs do you use to create your illustrations?
Illustrator, Photoshop, msn, and itunes.

Which draw was the most difficult to do?
The next one.
What would you tell for those who are starting in this area?
Every effort you spend, will be equally rewarded.
Your favorite artists?
Humberto Ramos, Patricio Betteo, J. Scott Campbell, Chiara Bautista

Your computer?
Apple Powerbook G4 15″, 5 years old =)
What is your favorite food?
Anything with a good company and a cold, cold beer.
Better with a sea landscape =)

What kind of music do you like?
Here comes the cliche: All kind
Favorite bands: Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Los fabulosos cadillacs, Cafe Tacuba, Bob Marley.


Do you have any hobbies outside of art and computing?
Concerts, traveling, xbox 360, mexican beers.
Any final comments?
A great quote of argentinian buddy, Alejandro Jodorowski:

I really have a couple of styles of working, my highly rendered work is more influenced by traditional fine art, then theres a more commercial side that is favoured by the editorial, publishing, fashion market.

I got involved with illustration four years ago. I’m self-taught, I have no degree (or anything close to it), nor any professional training.

I try to do whimsical and abstract drawings. I think my style is a mish mash of the ways that effort ends up coming across.

Jake Brewer is a South African designer & illustrator currently based in London.

I graduated in 2007 and I´ve been working with graphic and motion design since then.

I’m 24 years old. I was born in Santos, a small city in the coast of Brazil. I studied Multimidia Design at SENAC.

I took the Advertisement course at a University in Bauru. At my first year I started to understand what it was and to have a giant will to work for a agency.

I started working as a designer in 2005, developing good images, colors and tastes for pornographic market.

My name is Emma Geary aka Anarkitty. I am 30 years old and I live just outside of Belfast Northern Ireland. I have loved drawing since I was pretty young. Went to University and did a Ba(Hons) Degree in Art and design specialising in New Media.
