Tell us about your background?
For two years I have worked with the designer and graphic artist Fred Qora (cf portrait) with whom I created Qora Shai. We are able to work both together, utilizing our combined talents (illustration, graphic arts, design, music) and also individually on particular projects.

Have you had artistic studies and was it useful for you?
I didn’t follow a traditional course of art study, but studied drawing and also learned a great deal from the comics I have avidly regarded since I was young.

How would you explain your style of illustration?
My illustrations reflect a combination of my personal vision of life (or what I would like it to be) and the influence of various comic illustrators. When I draw, I try to derive from this mix a balance of elegance and sobriety, humour and serenity.

What programs do you use to create your illustrations?
I had already used a variety of software programs for music, then decided to do likewise with drawing, so I learned to use both Photoshop and Illustrator.

What are your creation processes?
Today my illustrating methods include: pencil drawing - vectorization using Illustrator - graphism using Photoshop.
