Brief Resume
One way or another all my life has been connected with art and design.
It all started when my mother sent me to elementary art school in our small city.
I’ve studied 5 years there, after that I was called to the Soviet Army. In the Army I’ve worked as artist in regiment headquarters. I guess, there from came my affection for armory and stars. :)

Afterwards I continued to prepare to enter an institute. After 2 unsuccessful attempts I’ve passed Kharkov art-industrial college (Ukraine), Interior and Equipment Department. However interior design was not very interesting to me, so I began working on graphic design, experimenting with traditional materials and techniques. After all I’ve found potential of computer design, this fact gave me possibility to work with computer and traditional graphics.
During several years I’ve worked with a lot of Ukrainian advertising agencies (in Dnipropetrovsk, Kiev). In 2001 I came to Moscow (Russia).
This large cold megalopolis appeared to be kind to me. I’ve found a lot of friends here, moreover in Moscow I’ve found a lot of possibilities for creative improvement. Aside from graphic design I began to draw magazine illustrations. Illustrator profession - is one of those professions which develop rapidly in Russia. Through several years the list of editions I cooperated with grew to: Rolling Stone, Publish, Men’s Fitness, Maxim, Playboy, Men’s Health, Afisha (city guide), Private Time magazine and others. I’ve also worked with such clients as MTV, LMA Outwear, Coors beer, FES, Picnic and others. I’ve also participated in some illustrators’ exhibitions.

Projects
I proceed working on magazine illustration and graphic design as art-director. Now I collaborate with Moscow Press House Eksmo. I design book-covers and I like it very much. This kind of job gives me maximum freedom in my ideas implementation. I guess, I’ll show some works of this kind on my personal site.
This year I’ve signed contract with Shannon Associates illustration agency and I’m waiting surprises from my agent :)

Inspiration
I’m inspired by nature of our planet and stars on the sky.
I’m inspired by life and people around. I live in the world of people and this world is most interesting to me.
My greatest addiction is sport. I love football, tennis and box. This year Ukrainian combined football team has come to World cup at first time! The best player in our team was Sheva - AC Milan forward player Andriy Shevchenko. I was happy as a child. Hope, we will reach the final with Brazil. :)

I really have a couple of styles of working, my highly rendered work is more influenced by traditional fine art, then theres a more commercial side that is favoured by the editorial, publishing, fashion market.

I got involved with illustration four years ago. I’m self-taught, I have no degree (or anything close to it), nor any professional training.

I try to do whimsical and abstract drawings. I think my style is a mish mash of the ways that effort ends up coming across.
